Company Profile
The Port of Ravenna, connected with the entire world and equipped to receive all types of goods, is amongst the first in Italy in the handling
of grain, feed, fertilizers, raw ceramic materials and metallurgical products. With over 18 km of quays, extraordinary storage capacity and
vast dry port areas, it handles over 27 mln tons of goods assuming a strategic international port role.
Our Energy Transition Route
The Port Authority has long been committed to guiding the ecological transition of the Port of Ravenna, participating in EU Projects
and carrying out activities aimed at energy efficiency, environmental sustainability (including workplace safety), green upgrading of
existing infrastructure (e.g. through the cold ironing project) and energy production from renewable sources within the port area.
