Before submitting an abstract to OMC 2025 Programme Committee we invite you to carefully read the following participation terms.
- PAYMENT OF REGISTRATION FEE
Participation as a speaker is subject to payment of the Speaker's registration fee. Max 2 Speakers are allowed per paper. OMC Med Energy 2025 organisers assume no obligation for expenses incurred by authors for travel, lodging, food or other incidental expenses connected to their participation in the Conference.
- CLEARANCE BY THE COMPANY
The submission of a paper at OMC conferences carries an obligation to participate in the event and present it in person. Authors wishing to submit an abstract for OMC 2025 Conference should therefore carefully consider their ability to follow through with preparation of the manuscript and attend the conference. - COPYRIGHT POLICY
Authors of papers selected for presentation will be required to sign a copyright transfer agreement with OMC Organisers. The Conference retains ownership of the presented papers while presenting authors retain the right to use their paper for teaching purposes, scholarship or research, provided the source and copyright are indicated. No copy shall be used in a way that implies the OMC Programme Committee endorsement of a product or service. Reproductions for sale, promotional, marketing purposes without the written approval of OMC Programme Committee are forbidden. Presenting Authors are requested to declare that the manuscript is the authors' original work, that it has never been published before. Exerts from copyrighted works, if any, must be duly authorised by written consent of copyright owners.
Authors are granted the possibility to publish their papers elsewhere provided the re-publication clearly indicates that the paper was first presented at OMC Med Energy Conference in Ravenna, Italy. - PAPER WITHDRAWAL - CANCELLATION POLICY
The submission of a paper at OMC conferences carries an obligation to participate in the event. Authors of accepted paper proposals are expected to submit a manuscript for inclusion in the proceedings.
It is a disappointment to the Conference Organisers and Attendees when papers scheduled for presentation are withdrawn, especially when cancellation occurs late in the process. Furthermore, cancellations at a late stage may compromise the quality of the technical sessions and make it impossible for the Organisers to compensate. Consider that being selected for inclusion in the conference programme necessarily implies that some other work has been rejected. Therefore, before sending an abstract, Authors are should arefully consider their ability to follow through with preparation of the manuscript and attend the conference.
Authors of papers given space in the conference are considered to have made a firm commitment in this sense. Should it become unavoidably necessary for the Author of a paper included in the program to cancel it, he must send a withdrawal request in writing, as early as possible, providing an explanation for the failure to follow through on the commitment taken. - BEST PAPERS AWARDS - All papers presented at the conference run for OMC Med Energy awards. The award ceremony takes place during the farewell lunch on the closing day.
- CONFERENCE PROCEEDINGS - OMC Med Energy proceedings are indexed on ISBN and available at www.onepetro.org
